A partnership agreement was signed between STC and Infratech to provide the giant telecom operator with the emerging embedded SIM card technology, the agreement was signed between STC vice president, Eng. Abdullah Al Awini and Infratech CEO, Eng. Ayman Alsuhaim.
With the eSIM revolutionary technology, mobile phones will no longer use the traditional SIM card, the new eSIM will introduce new mobile phones with embedded SIM cards inside them, bringing more control over user’s data, additional security and convenience during mobility. On top of mobile phones, the eSIM technology will be used with IoT technology to enable cars and house appliances get connected and IoT enabled.
The service agreement between STC and Infratech will cover six countries namely Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Kingdom of Bahrain, India, Malaysia and Turkey. The introduction of this emerging technology positions Infratech as a leading IT Solutions provider in addition to other solutions including Secure Payment, Secure Identity, Cyber Security, IoT and more.
